Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth: Release On Xbox Game Pass Possible
To be straightforward: Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth won't be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch. Sadly, there aren't any plans on releasing the game on Xbox Games Pass for the time being, Masayoshi Yokoyama announced - sorry to disappoint you!
However, the developer has some good reasons for changing the approach for Infinite Wealth this time around.
In an interview with Automaton Media, Yokoyama shared that they quickly launched Like a Dragon Gaiden on Xbox Game Pass to reach more people worldwide and help newcomers easily get to know the legendary Dragon of Dojima, Kazuma Kiryu.
At the moment, there are no plans for Infinite Wealth to come to Game Pass. (...) for Gaiden, I thought of Game Pass as a way of 'handing overseas users our business card,' in other words, letting players new to the series enjoy the game and get to know Kiryu. Game Pass proved to be a very good method to invite new users to interact with the series.
But considering the global success of Like a Dragon Gaiden, there's still a slim chance the game might join Xbox Game Pass in the future, just like the other Yakuza games as well – unfortunately, not right at launch.
