Marvel's Midnight Suns has been officially delayed. The messaging by the developers has left behind some confusion, though.
We're all very excited for Marvel's Midnight Suns, which was originally slated for a release date in October. However, that has now been officially pushed back, as the game will now come out "at a later date". But what exactly is the new release date? Fans are somewhat confused about that.

The messaging did reveal a general launch window at least. According to the statement, Midnight Suns will "launch later this fiscal year on Windows PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5."
Versions of the game for older console generations, namely Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, will come out at some point afterwards, with no launch period specified for these releases. This fiscal year? How very business-y of them...
To explain that: the fiscal year of publisher Take-Two – who own 2K and GTA developer Rockstar, among many other things – ends on March 2023. CEO Strauss Zelnik said that he is "not concerned" about the game being delayed again, so we can expect Marvel's Midnight Suns to release at some point within the next five months.
After being revealed at Gamescom last year, the game has already been delayed before. This seems to definitely be the last delay, though. Let's hope so, I can't wait to finally play the game...
