Marvel's Midnight Suns is a combination of turn-based combat and deck-building. You have a roster of superheroes, and each superhero has their own customizable deck of abilities. Super-simple; it's just XCOM for Marvel fans. And thankfully, it's awesome.

So, here comes the bad news. It was originally released on present-gen platforms, with old-gen platforms being told they would get a version at a later date. The Xbox One and PS4 should still be getting their version of the game, but we have bad news for the Nintendo Switch.

  • Psst! If you love handheld gaming but you also hate stories like this, just get a Steam Deck .

No Midnight Suns For The Switch

In a recent press release from 2K, the publishers announced that the "Nintendo Switch version of Marvel's Midnight Suns will no longer be offered." You actually have to read quite carefully to find this little detail, because the whole message is very positively framed around the PS4 and Xbox One releases.

If you're a Switch player and this has ruined your day, we're sorry to be the bearers of bad news. That said, you shouldn't be too downbeat because Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be released very soon (but now the game has been fully leaked and uploaded online, please beware spoilers).

Speaking of Zelda, how about a recent controversial video on the topic:
