Mortal Kombat creator, Ed Boon, has done it again! He posted a new teaser for the presumably future plans for new Mortal Kombat 1 expansions, including some new horror villains!
With Mortal Kombat 1 up and running, both the community and the devs are already looking into the future and what it might hold for them. And honestly, things looks scary and spooky, to say the least.
The ones who are familiar with the Mortal Kombat franchise know the game doesn't include just the standard character of the game. Future DLCs always included some famous characters from movies (Robocop, the Joker etc.), but this time around we can also expect horror characters like Xenomorph and Leatherface.
The newest teaser indicates we will see a new horror face entering the stage!
Mortal Kombat 1: Did Ed Boon Tease New Horror Characters?
With Ed Boon being constantly in touch with the Mortal Kombat community through Twitter, it is only a question of time when the next teaser is dropping, since he already teased the return of Reptile in the past, for example.
With his latest tweet, the rumors going crazy, especially if we take a closer look at the picture:

We see different iconic horror figures, either with a green question or a check mark. Those characters with the green check mark are already included in the Mortal Kombat universe: Leatherface (MK X), Freddy Krueger (MK 2011), Jason (MK X).
But that does beg the question, who's next? It's clear that either Michael Myers, Pinhead, Ghostface, Chucky and Billy the Puppet will have the chance to enter the Mortal Kombat stage! Ghostface seems to be a suitable candidate for sure, especially after data miners leaked information about him.
I haven't read all the 6600 lines, so I overlooked a lot of things.@Ghostface_4_MK1 found some kool hints in the incomplete dialogues that can lead to a guest character for Kombat Pack 2 pic.twitter.com/LVS66JPp9n

Having Chucky on the board really creeps me out, and I can't fathom how the hit box with the little fellow could even be, or Billy the Puppet. But we need to wait patiently until NetherRealm Studios makes an official announcement!
