After leaks of another Nintendo Direct coming soon, it has now been confirmed. Nintendo revealed on Twitter, that the next Direct is happening on September 14.
On a regular basis, Nintendo holds livestreams where they showcase new game trailers, gameplay sequences or make bigger announcements for future plans. In the past, things like trailers for Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom were presented as a highlight at the end of a Nintendo Direct.

What to expect for the show
It's nearly impossible to predict what they will announce, given Nintendo's reputation for keeping quiet about their projects for a long time. However, we definitely expect to see more on games like the Mario RPG and the Peach-focused game, which have been revealed at the last direct.
Also, for the love of GOD please finally show Metroid Prime 4! The game was literally announced six years ago, it's getting ridiculous. After the success of the amazing Metroid Prime Remastered earlier this year, we hope that the next game in the series will finally see the light of day.
Some rumors have surfaced about a potential reveal for the Switch 2 in the near future, raising our hopes for information about Nintendo's next console. However, as they say, you can never be too sure.
Just... please show Metroid Prime 4, ok? Thanks.
