Nintendo have revealed the details for their upcoming Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, including what's coming with the upgrade, and its release date.

Well, you should get ready, because Nintendo Switch Online + is coming sooner than we originally thought!
Seriously, Nintendo have now confirmed a number of key details about their new subscription service, including that we will not only be getting N64 games with Nintendo Switch Online Plus, but also Sega Genesis games. Isn't that just insanely exciting?

What's Included With the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack?
- A select library of Nintendo 64 games
- A select library of SEGA Genesis games
- Animal Crossing: New Horizons - Happy Home Paradise expansion pack / DLC
- All other benefits that come with the base-version of Nintendo Switch Online
Let's just set this really straight for you: you're in this for the Nintendo 64 games, or the Genesis games if that's your thing. How Much is the Nintendo Switch Online Plus Price?
Nintendo Switch Online + will cost a total of $49.99 USD per year. This is $30 USD more than the base version of Nintendo Switch Online, which costs $19.99 USD for a full year membership. In addition, you can purchase a family membership of Nintendo Switch Online + for $79.99 USD that will allow you to connect up to eight Nintendo Account holders.
When is the Nintendo Switch Online Plus Expansion Pack Release Date?
Nintendo Switch Online + will release on October 25, including a selection of Nintendo 64 and SEGA Genesis games. These libraries will increase as the service grows, allowing players further access to more and more games from the Nintendo 64 and Genesis. It's a pretty cool new service, but we can't help but wonder: for what it is, this is a little bit pricey, isn't it?
