Since May 2022, there is a new subscription model in place for PlayStation; it now has several tiers costing various amounts. Sony have basically expanded PS Plus by adding two more subscription tiers: Extra and Premium. And what used to be known as PS Plus is now called PS Plus Essentials, but will remain exactly as it was.

Those who upgrade to PS Plus Extra will get 400 PS4 and PS5 games "for free". At the Premium level, retro titles from PS1, PS2, and even PS3 are also included. The full list of games for PS Plus Extra and Premium can be found here.

In April, Sony surprised us with an early reveal of Meet Your Maker to become part of PS Plus. We now know the line-up for May 2023, as it was officially revealed by Sony. Here's what we're getting this month:

GRID Legends (PS5, PS4)
Chivalry 2 (PS5, PS4)
Descenders (PS5, PS4)

These games will be made available for download on May 2, 11 am GMT/6 am ET/3 am PT.

Free PS Plus Games in June 2023: Speculation & Leaks

When Will The PS Plus June 2023 Lineup Be Announced?

Sony usually reveals the new PS Plus lineup on the last Wednesday of a month, which means the lineup for June 2023 should be announced on May 31. You can expect the official lineup to be revealed around 4:30 pm BST / 5:30 pm CEST / 0:30 am PST / 11:30 am EST.
