There's a ton of Pokémon everywhere nowadays, especially in gaming. To keep that in check, the Pokémon Presents show was started, with the newest edition having premiered today on August 3. There are more games in this franchise than we can keep up with, but the main one is of course Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, the next mainline games in the legendary franchise. We finally got another look at the games with an extended new trailer – including one brilliant detail.

Scarlet & Violet Finally Lets You Ride Your Favorite Pokémon

The trailer showed off a bit more of what you can expect for your adventure in the Paldea region, the all-new region where Pokémon Scarlet & Violet will be set. The highlight of the showing is quite obviously those sick bikes that the legendary Pokémon in Scarlet & Violet can turn into. Yes, I'm deadly serious... someone accidentally dropped some Mario Kart in my Pokémon. You can even fly with them things, just like in MK8. And I'll be honest... it looks kind of amazing?

See here how modders might have done a better job with Pokémon remakes than Nintendo:

Well... it looks ridiculous and weird, and I feel uncomfortable about the organic beasts turning into rideable bikes. But hey! Can't be that much worse than living your entire existence in a tiny ball. Outside of this corker, the video also showed off the new "terastallized" form of the Pokémon, as well as some of the exploration and co-op gameplay and yes, we are still very excited for this game.

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet will be released on November 18th for Nintendo Switch, you can check out the showcase below (the part about S&V starts at around 9:15).
