To finish the quest The Path to the Sand Prison and enter the Pit of Eternal Sands in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, you’ll need to find two Time Powers. Here’s where they are.
A few hours into Prince of Persia The Lost Crown, the game asks you to go a region called the Pit of Eternal Sands during the quest called Path to the Sand Prison. However, the entrance is blocked by a mysterious figure, asking you to get a total of four time powers.
You should already have two powers by that point, Rush of the Simurgh and Shadow of the Simurgh. The next two, which you need to find to complete Path to the Sand Prison, can be found in the Hyrcanian Forest and the Sacred Archives.
How To Get The Two Time Powers In Path to the Sand Prison
From now on, this article will spoil what these two time powers are and what you need to do to get them.
Go to the forest first, where you will find the Dimensional Claw. To obtain this Time Power, you need to defeat Kiana, the Forest Queen. To get to this tough, but manageable fight, you need to first go to the Sunken Harbor. You will reach this area by going down at an early point in the initial forest entry.
Make your way through this region, and you’ll eventually end up in a different part of the forest and to the boss room. Defeat Kiana to get the first of two Time Powers, the Dimensional Claw.
The next power you’re looking for is Clairvoyance, which you will find in the Sacred Archives. You should have a fast travel point in the region. Go to the room with the large rings and go to the left. You’ll see a moving spike block. Use the Shadow power to get beyond that.
From there, enter the Tower of Knowledge. Make your way through the tower until you get to this location on the map.
Here you will a blue portal surrounded by temporal blocks and four orange portals, each of which contain a small, time-based puzzle. Thankfully, you only have one room available in the beginning, and this puzzle should show you everything you need to know about these challenges.
Once you complete all four puzzles, the temporal blocks around the blue portal will disappear. Enter the portal to find Clairvoyance, the last Time Power you need to complete Path to the Sand Prison and enter the Pit of Eternal Sands.
