The First PlayStation Plus Premium Games Have Been Leaked

PlayStation Plus Premium is launching soon, and now the first free PS1 games launching with the service have been revealed.

By now, I'm sure you heard all about PlayStation Plus Premium, and if you haven't, you can change that here. PS Plus Premium will launch in June, by introducing two new tiers: PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium. PS Plus Extra combines the existing PS Plus service with PS Now, while PS Plus Premium gives you access to PS3, PS2, PS1, and PSP games.

PS Plus Premium PS1 Games Leaked

Now, some of those PS1 games have been leaked, thanks to the Korean rating system: They recently rated Syphon Filter 1 and 2, as well as Tekken 2 and Mr. Driller.

That is about as unexciting and uninspired as PS Plus Premium, which does not seem to have what it takes to compete with Game Pass. Honestly, who cares about these old games? Anyone that does, already played them and likely still owns them.

Of course, there are still the PS2 and PS3 games to look forward to, but I do believe that the success of the new PS Plus hinges on PS Now. Microsoft just announced its plans to release a game-streaming-stick, and, as you all know, unlike Sony, all of Microsoft's major titles release on Game Pass on Day 1. Unless Sony matches that dedication, I don't see the point in them shaking up their online services.
