As was announced by his family on the evening of October 14, popular Rainbow Six: Siege caster Michael 'KiXSTAr' Stockley has died unexpectedly at the age of 24.
Stockley's former casting partner Parker 'Interro' Mackay revealed the sad news that Michael 'KiXSTAr' Stockley died unexpectedly at Age 24 earlier this week. Stockley was very popular among the Rainbow Six: Siege community for his knowledge and passion for the game. He was considered to be one of the best casters and moderators in Rainbow Six eSport.

Rainbow Six: Siege Caster Michael 'KiXSTAr' Stockley Has Died At Age 24
Stockley passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 11, in a car accident. This was announced by his friend and colleague Mackay in a tweet on Wednesday, on behalf of Stockley's family.

Mackay emphasizes the important role Stockley played within the Siege community and vice versa:
Michael worked hard to lift up the R6 Siege community, and in turn so many of you lifted him up as well. We are grateful for the love and support that we have experienced from so many of you. Keep it going, pay it forward, and keep lifting each other up.
Michael 'KiXSTAr' Stockley Mourned And Honored By The Gaming World
Since the announcment of his passing, a sea of messages have been directed towards Stockley's family and friends. Mackay's initial tweet saw many eSport players, streamers and gaming personalities mourning the tragic loss and sending condolences to Stockley's family. Among those were Jack “CouRage” Dunlop from 100Thieves and Alex "z1ronic" Dalgaard-Hansen from Natus Vincere.

Later that day, the official Ranbow Six Esports account also shared a message of respect for Stockley and his family. In the tweet, they announced that the North American League broadcasts that day would be postponed and asked people to donate to local food banks in Stockley's name.

The message was quickly responded to by the official twitch account with their own message of respect for his work:
