Red Dead Redemption's Undead Nightmare DLC was one of the best expansions we've ever seen. And finally, Undead Nightmare 2 has been put together!
Undead Nightmare was a fantastic DLC way back when. It had a horde mode, a great campaign, and who doesn't love the mashup of Cowboys and Horror? So needless to say, we were hyped when we heard about Undead Nightmare 2: Origins, a new mod that's as extensive as the original. But enough nattering from us - here's everything you guys want to know about Undead Nightmare 2!
When Is Undead Nightmare 2 Released
Undead Nightmare 2: Origins is available right now (December 20, 2021, at the time of writing) and should remain available for the foreseeable future. So what are you waiting for? Don't worry, we've popped the installation instructions further down in this article - so saddle up!
What Platforms can access Undead Nightmare 2
Unfortunately, Undead Nightmare 2: Origins is only available for PC, as PC are the only platform to have mods. This has long been an issue for console owners, and rightly so. Mods can massively prolong the replayability of a given game, just check out what it's done for Skyrim, but it also makes it harder for publishers to sell microtransactions. And the firm grip that publishers can have on console users, is an advantage they'll never want to relinquish. Unfortunately, this is just the way it is.
How much does Undead Nightmare 2 cost?
Undead Nightmare 2: Origins is completely free, but you can donate or thank the creator if you appreciate the work, here is the creator's Twitter. It's a ridiculously extensive mod, so they certainly deserve some love, even if you can't spare them a dollar.
