Well, you'll know this part already if you played Resident Evil 4. In the remake, we probably won't see new storylines or different content from the original game – but Capcom overhauled the look and feel, and we can expect the same kind of gameplay as in Resident Evil 2 Remake or Resident Evil Village.
They've shown a new trailer and confirmed a demo for the Resident Evil 4 Remake at Sony's State of Play.
Resident Evil 4 Remake: Demo Release Date Leaked
While the official release date is still on March 24 (thank god, no delay), there is no official release date for the Resident Evil 4 Remake demo yet. But, a new leak has revealed, that the demo will actually release today!
Capcom has announced a showcase for March 9 at 2:30 PM PST, promising "news on Resident Evil 4, Exoprimal, Monster Hunter Rise, Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection, and Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective". It has now been revealed, that the demo will be released after this event.
This was revealed via Twitch ads, claiming that the demo is "available now", which users already saw ahead of the showcase. The demo release for today was also corroborated by Insider Gaming, citing anonymous sources.
The demo will definitely be released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 . Whether we'll see a free to play test version for PC or Xbox is not confirmed yet – but there is hope. We got a Resident Evil Village gameplay demo for the Microsoft service before, and the game will be available on all Sony and Microsoft consoles and PC.
We are also sure that the remake of part 4 will be an outstanding Resident Evil. But if you don't believe us, you will be able to download the demo for free and test it. Soon!
