We could have had it aaaaaall... and yet, we're not getting anything because THIS Jurassic World game got scrapped. Sadge.
Leaks are usually a good thing because they mean something great is coming. In this case, however, it's a bad one because images of a scrapped Jurassic World game appeared online that make us believe it would have been the best game of the franchise yet.
Why the best? Because it honestly couldn't get much worse than some of the ones we've gotten in the last years (full on shade right here).
But I'm getting ahead of myself again. What happened, and where are the pictures? This video got uploaded recently:
In the video, Seamus Blackley, creator of Xbox, talks about the never-made Jurassic World game and how IT actually inspired the 2015 movie with Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. Not the other way around.
The main protagonist of the game would have been Billy Brennan who you might remember from Jurassic Park III. So, the game would have apparently followed the story of the early movies. In the end, Billy Brennan seemed to have been the inspiration for Chris Pratt's character, Owen Grady.
We unfortunately don't know what kind of game it would have been and apart from the concept art, not much is known about the scrapped game, but maybe that's a good thing. If they had shown more, we would have been even more disappointed that it never got made into a real game.
It's nice to see a game be the inspiration for a movie that ended up being that good, though.
- This show is also crazy good... fight me!
