The Sims 4 is finally free-to-play, something it really should have done a long time ago.
For those who have just seen "free" and wanted to check this out, the Sims 4 has a pretty solid metacritic rating (70%) and should let you recreate all the old nonsense we used to get up to in earlier Sims games. The Sims 4 is free-to-play now – you can just download it from EA here, but keep in mind that you will have to use the EA App (former called Origin) to install it. We all love free stuff, so this is obviously great news. Although, it does seem like a move that EA should have made a long-time ago. Sims is basically the perfect free-to-play game; everyone will try it and then there's an almost limitless amount of in-game cosmetics they can sell to make up the cost.
