Starfield offers many exciting secrets, which players have slowly uncovered during the Early Access phase. And being able to utilize magic in the sci-fi RPG is one of many things that got the players to fall in love, because they are a big surprise and really awesome to use!

We will show you how you can obtain the so-called Starborn Powers, how many are there to discover and which ones are the best to have!

The Starborn Powers in Starfield can't be missed, don't worry. You'll get access to them through the "Into the Unknown" main quest from Constellation, and the game will give you a detailed explanation on how to get and utilize them.

The process for getting new Powers is always the same:

  • Land at a Scanner Anomaly
  • Enter the Temple
  • Head to the ring-like devise
  • Collect the patches of light
  • Enter the portal
  • New Starborn Power unlocked!

That's basically it. You just need to scour the galaxy, find more temples and get your new magical abilities. Easy, right?

Starfield: How To Locate Other Temples

To obtain additional powers, you need to follow the "Power From Beyond" quest. However, there are two alternative methods for finding the temples and getting yourself some additional abilities.

If you enter a new system, your board system might notify you that a temple is on a planet. Otherwise, talk to Vladimir Sall aboard The Eye and he might know more about potential temple locations. If this happens, your quest log will be updated.

In case you want to know what happens with the Starborn Powers in your New Game+ playthrough, we have also the answer.

But be reminded, this is major spoiler territory

After you reached the end and ultimately agreed to your doppelgänger to enter the Unity, New Game+ starts. With that, you will lose a lot of things, but there is still much to gain in return!

In your second playthrough, you keep all your Skills and Powers from the previous run. This means you might come across the same Temple in a different part of the universe.

However, this isn't a waste! You can upgrade each power up to ten times, making each playthrough much easier and turning you into the most powerful being in the galaxy!
