Starfield Will Drive Fans Back To No Man's Sky

No Man's Sky developer Hello Games announced the game is experiencing its best month in years. Could Starfield be a potential reason for this development?

Many people still vividly remember the No Man's Sky release in 2016. It was a mass, it was catastrophic. The fan base, as well as the gaming community as a whole, felt like they were lied to, as a lot of pre-release promises were not kept.

After over 25 free updates with new content, features, gameplay mechanics, story quests, and more, the devs have reached a stage where No Man's Sky is now loved by fans and community alike and the future shines stellar bright for the company.

Now, Sean Murray, founder of Hello Games, revealed that No Man's Sky had its best month in a long time on all gaming platforms. He didn't say how the increase was possible, but the recent release of Starfield might be a driving factor for this.

Over time, lots of players returned after being disappointed when they left the game earlier, and new players joined because they saw the growing excitement for the game with each new update. Because No Man's Sky offers lots of freedom for exploring, building bases, discovering countless universes, and more, some people think No Man's Sky is superior to Starfield.

But let's be honest. Ultimately, both games are entirely distinct from each other, the only thing they have in common is being a sci-fi game with a base-building elements.

There is no telling how long this newly found popularity will last, but I'm glad it's happening. Hello Games redeemed for their mistakes in the past, and created an almost unlimited game with much to discover.

Games To Play After Starfield is Over

If you miss the exploration aspect in Starfield, going wherever you want, No Man's Sky will surely offer you a lot of fun and excitement. But if you're looking for another, story-driven sci-fi game, you might find the Mass Effect series or The Outer Worlds more to your liking.

If you don't know Outer Worlds, here is a gameplay trailer:
