The Stellaris Expansion Galactic Paragons releases today. Now, players have even more options to form and build their star empires. Let's take a look at all the new stuff.
Good news for all fans of grand strategy games, the time of waiting is over. Get in your spaceships and conquer the Galaxy once more. Today, the newest expansion for Paradox Interactive's sci-fi title Stellaris releases. It's called Stellaris: Galactic Paragons and promises a lot of new content and mechanics. Let's take a look at the new main features.
Stellaris: Galactic Paragons - The new main features
Galactic Paragons aims for a new level of ingame storytelling and focuses especially on the characters of the game, like the species-leaders and council members. Be aware that some new features might require content, that is sold separately!
Council Mechanics And Roles:
The new council mechanics are one of the main points of the expansion. Now you will be able to set agendas for your policies and assign leaders to vital positions. Dozens of new and unique council roles were promised by Paradox. They are based on your government types and policies. Also, you will be able to unlock even more roles and positions on your council as your empire grows and your technologies advance.
New Leaders With Their Own Dynamics:
In Stellaris: Galactic Paragons, dynamic leaders will also be a main focus point. You can recruit leaders for special roles and positions in your empire. And yes, you're able to shape them for your goals by picking their trades and specialize them. You can select their veteran class and guide them through the galaxy. Of course, you're also in the position to make them disappear, if they don't serve you right.
Galactic Heroes Can Join Your Star -Empire:
Well, the name paragon must come from somewhere, so this new mechanic might not surprise you at all. With enough renown of your council, you will now be in the position to encounter galactic heroes. They can serve on your council as unique leaders and have their own events and stories.
All of them bring special benefits for your species and government. As Paradox stated, there will be four Legendary Paragons with their own event chain and even more unique mechanics. So, the biggest personalities among the stars might serve your realm in the future
New Origin, Traditions And Focuses:
What would be an expansion without introducing new ways to play the game? First, there will be a new origin for your species, which tells the story of the way your species found its ways to the stars. The new one is called "Under One Rule" and tells the tale of the leader who founded your empire and led your species into the future.
Additionally, there will be up to eight new Civics, which are focused on leadership and hundreds of new traits for the rulers and leaders of your empire. Together with two new tradition trees, it gives you new edicts to rule your realm. And of course they are 12 new Veteran classes ready to serve you. Furthermore, new ships, art and story content is introduced with Stellaris: Galactic Paragons.
Stellaris: Galactic Paragons is now purchasable on Steam.
