The fighting game community welcomed Street Fighter 6 with open arms and now we'll get our first DLC character from the Year 1 Character Pass.
Rashid of the Turbulent Wind makes his way to Street Fighter 6 and Capcom announced this with a fresh character trailer. The trailer itself shows us the benefits of picking him up, since his play style included high speed and mobility.
Every owner of the Deluxe Edition, Ultimate Edition or Year 1 Character Pass will get Rashid on July 24. If you aren't certain if this fighter matches your style, get the Rental Fighter ticket from the Fighting Pass and try out Rashid for free for one hour.

Rashid Enters The Stage In Street Fighter 6
Rashid is a fan favorite since his first appearance in Street Fighter 5. As he engulfs himself with the wind, he's superfast, mobile and even got some parkour moves up his sleeve.
- Arabian Cyclone – A new special move that performs a spinning kick and conjures up a whirlwind; can be used as a standalone blow, or transitioned into Rolling Assault or Wing Stroke.
- Arabian Skyhigh – A new double jump move that keeps opponents guessing on where Rashid will land from the air.
- Super Rashid Kick – Level 1 Super Art that unloads a devastating kick while soaring forward and up through the air.
- Ysaar – Previously Rashid’s V-Trigger move in Street Fighter V, this Level 2 Super Art summons a slow-moving whirlwind projectile that can be used to pressure opponents.
- Altair – Rashid’s Level 3 Super Art calls forth a tempest that lifts opponents before he rains down on them with a monsoon of powerful blows.

Capcom includes Rashid in all three game modes:
- World Tour - Meet the Turbulent Wind within the new story mode and take his moveset to your heart or rather apply his moves to your custom avatar's
- Fighting Ground - Rashid fills in the spot of the 19th playable character in the roster from Street Fighter 6
- Battle Hub - If you want to cosplay as Rashid, then grab his related gear, emotes, music and more from the Fighting Pass

Next Characters For Year 1 Character Pass
As Rashid approaches us with his high wind speed, Capcom already revealed some future characters.
- Rashid - Official release on July 24th
- A.K.I. - Fall 2023 - Is a new face in the franchise. She is a fighter from China.
- Akuma - Spring 2024 - His legacy began as the hidden boss in Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo. Ever since then, Akuma is a core member of the character roster
- Ed - Winter 2024 - First introduced in Street Fighter 4, but playable since Street Fighter 5
