An EVO be without a few new character announcements is no real EVO, right? And so Capcom took the opportunity to introduce the next two characters from the Street Fighter 6 roster in an action packed trailer.

Street Fighter 6 Trailer Announces Juri & Kimberly

The new fighters revealed on stage at Evo 2022 and later via the official Street Fighter Twitter account are Kimberly and Juri. Their inclusion shouldn't come as a big surprise, considering that the complete roster of the game was leaked earlier this year. But the new trailer gives us a better idea of what to expect when these two fighters step into the ring.

You can see both of them in action in the trailer below.

Kimberly is a brand-new addition and is the first playable African-American woman in the history of the Street Fighter series. She was teased in the game's announcement trailer, and we saw her full design, as well as Juri's, a few months ago.

In the footage itself, she displays a series of quick jumps, aerial kicks and powerful throws in combat. She is described as a devoted student of bushinryu, training her body and mind to perform traditional ninja techniques.

One of Kimberly's super moves is to spray graffiti on her opponent for a colorful finish. This smart kunoichi is also obsessed with 80's pop culture and carries a Walkman everywhere she goes.

Juri, who made his first appearance in Super Street Fighter 4, looks a bit different from the last time we saw her. We see her riding into battle on a motorcycle, and apparently she makes her opponents suffer from a series of tornado kicks.

Street Fighter 6 was officially revealed during State of Play in June 2022. Since the announcement, Capcom has confirmed that the title is not PlayStation exclusive and will also be released for Xbox and PC. The game is scheduled to be released sometime in 2023 and there are rumors that the game will feature cross play between different platforms.
