This Game is The Last of Us Meets I Am Legend

This game looks like The Last of Us, but as an MMO, and now we find out it's been delayed. When can we finally get our hands on this new world, though?

There are quite a few MMO's making their way to our computers and consoles these days. Lost Ark has taken over millions of computers, and Riot is also working hard on their own MMORPG. Blizzard keeps making updates for World of Warcraft and it seems like there are more MMOs to come.

One of those is the survival Zombie MMORPG by FNTASTIC called 'The Day Before'. It looks incredible, cool and fun and is unique from all the other MMOs out there, but we've got some bad news for those of you who were hyped to play this game soon.

The Day Before Delayed

According to sources from IGN, the release date of the MMO has been pushed back by quite a few months. Originally, the game was supposed to be released on June 21, 2022, but the developers have released a new date for the game which is going to be March 1, 2023. Yes, you read that right, you will have to wait until 2023 and another wave of COVID to play this game.

But, why is the game being delayed? Well, that's quite simple, it's all because of the Unreal Engine 5.

Feeling and understanding the great responsibility that we face with enormous gratitude in our hearts, we’re pleased to announce that The Day Before is switching to the new Unreal Engine 5 technology!

Due to the switch to the Unreal Engine 5, the developers have had to make some changes and adjustments, which will take some time to solve, and therefore the game is going to be delayed for a few months.

The game will have high-end visuals like no other MMO and to have the game looking as crisp and clean as possible, FNTASTIC is making the switch to the Unreal Engine 5. Even before the switch to the Unreal Engine 5 the game looked amazing, but with the added engine it'll be even cleaner visuals. We have to see those Zombie guts in ultra HD, right?
