Uncharted creator Amy Henning signed with Marvel to develop a new video game, and we want one thing, and one thing only: Ironman.
UPDATE: It seems that Amy Henning is working on either Ant-Man or Fantastic Four – that's according to the Fatman Beyond podcast:
On the new Fatman Beyond, Marc Bernardin reveals he's a writer on Amy Hennig's new Marvel game. Kevin Smith says chat guessed the game immediately. The two viable guesses were Ant-Man and Fantastic Four.So my money's on Amy Hennig making Fantastic Four. https://t.co/wkvKyMIiy7 pic.twitter.com/CzbvjSxBIE

Original story below:
Alright, so if you don't know Amy Henning you're about to: This 1964-born creative genius is the writer and creative director behind three of gaming's greatest – Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. Oh, that, and she worked on the Legacy of Kain games, Soul Raver, and Naughty Dog's other iconic series: Jak & Daxter (which desperately needs a remaster, by the way...).
Amy Henning Is Working on a New Marvel Game
Yes, this woman is a certified gaming great, and can't be praised enough. Now, Marvel Games realized this talent and hired Amy Henning as president of Skydance New Media, who will develop Marvel's next AAA video game. The game is set to be a narrative-driven, blockbuster action-adventure, so, basically, it's Marvel-Uncharted – at least that's my interpretation. Here's the official statement:
“I can’t imagine a better partner than Marvel for our first game. The Marvel Universe epitomizes all the action, mystery and thrills of the pulp adventure genre that I adore and lends itself perfectly to an interactive experience. It’s an honor to be able to tell an original story with all the humanity, complexity, and humor that makes Marvel characters so enduring and to enable our players to embody these heroes that they love.”
Seriously, Amy and Marvel are a match made in heaven, and there is one Marvel IP in particular that already has Amy Henning written all over it: Ironman. Seriously, think about it: The quick wits of Nathan Drake, the charm, the recklessness, the grandeur... it's all there. Plus, the MCU has made Ironman the arguably the biggest superhero on the planet, so it's actually a miracle that we don't have an Ironman game yet.
Whatever hero Amy lands on (wait... that came out wrong), it's a good time to be a Marvel fan and gamer: Wolverine is getting a new game, Spiderman has its sequel in development, Guardians of the Galaxy turned out amazing, and even Amy's former employer Naughty Dog is rumored to be working on a Marvel game. And that's not even all the Marvel gaming projects in the pipeline. First they conquered movies, then they conquered TV, and now gaming? What's next? Porn?
