Unreal Engine 5 is here y'all, and more than that: There are already a lot of upcoming Unreal Engine 5 games. Here's the full list.
Unreal Engine 5 is officially a thing now, like Kim and Pete Davidson. Unbelievable. Both... is... unbelievable. Now, I'm not one to orgasm over graphics, but goddamn if Unreal Engine 5 games don't set a new standard. The newest Tomb Raider game was confirmed to be running on Unreal Engine 5, as is the upcoming Witcher game, and I think it's finally time to usher in a new era of graphics.
All The Games Running on Unreal Engine 5
How sad is it, that Red Dead Redemption 2 is still up there as one of the most beautiful games? I mean... come on... it's been a long time, and it's about time we get that real next-gen experience, because this next gen has been around for a minute. Hopefully, Unreal Engine 5 gets the job done, and here are some games that are trying to make our jaws drop - all the games we know will have Unreal Engine 5 powering them:
- The upcoming Tomb Raider game
- The upcoming Witcher game
- The next Gears of War
- An untitled RTS game from Warcraft & Starcraft devs
- The upcoming Layers of Fear
- Stalker 2
- Quantum Error
- ILL
- Redfall
- Hellblade 2
- Echo
- The Legend of Ymir
- Ark 2
- ArchAge 2
- Black Myth: Wukong
- Ashes of Creation
- Dreamhouse: The Game of Echoes
- Game of Thrones
- Dragon Quest 12
Before you wet your panties over that Game of Thrones game... that's... a mobile game. Of course, not all Unreal Engine 5 games will necessarily look mind-blowing - for example, Fortnite has already made the jump, and though it is pretty when running at full specs, it's not the next level of visuals we're hoping for.
