Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was revealed at the Nintendo Direct, and it looks like Breath of the Wild with a sci-fi dressing... and that's a good thing.
I'm not gonna sit here, and pretend that I played Xenoblade Chronicles. I didn't. I know the games are amazing, and it was on my to-buy list, when I first got my Switch, but then... I got Breath of the Wild. Now, I'm one of the many people looking forward to Breath of the Wild 2, when, suddenly, yesterday's Nintendo Direct slapped the Link out of me with their trailer for Xenoblade Chronicles 3:
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Release Date
How badass does that trailer look? Like, seriously. Now, just ignore the horrible dubbing, and imagine the original voices – because we are all going to play the game in Japanese anyway (if you don't, you need to hand in your anime-fan membership, go sit in the corner, and be ashamed of yourself).
Honestly, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 has everything Zelda doesn't have: A story and voice-acting. Yes, I said it. Also, the world looks legitimately amazing, and... it basically looks like an anime that I want to watch. The fact that it's a game I can actually play makes this even better, and we will only have to wait until September 2022 until we get to play Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Good stuff.
