Sony's State of Play revealed the launch trailer for a new Destiny 2 DLC. We can see a Death Star like attack of the Traveler and a lot of action – and look forward to a new raid!
If you ever played Destiny, you were certainly always wondering what the giant magic orb called the Traveler is all about. As we know from the story, the sphere hovers above the Earth and revives dead people. For years, players served the orb and protected it from dark forces that want to destroy it or steal its powers for their own.
Destiny 2: Lightfall Trailer – Finally, The Traveler Shows His Powers
Once responsible for terraforming the worlds of the Sol System, the Traveler was largely inactive. This changes with the latest trailer for Destiny 2: Lightfall. The DLC will be available from February 28 and brings players new missions and quests, new exotic weapons and gear and an all new raid!

As you might know by now, the Traveler is actually really powerful. In the launch trailer we see that the Witness has arrived, threatening the City, the Traveler, and all of Sol. There are characters’ ships getting blown up by black pyramids as they try to defend the Traveler. And then the Traveler melts some ships by blasting a big Death Star like attack we know from Star Wars.

Earlier in the story, it left Earths orbit and is now ready for some action. We can't wait to find out what the Traveler's intentions are – and how and if it is connected to the new raid.
