GTA 6 Release Window Hinted At By Take-Two In Earnings Call

During the official GTA 6 announcement, Rockstar didn't mention a release date for the game. However, during the latest Take-Two Earnings Call, the company hinted at a potential release window for the game, and it won't be in fiscal year 2024.

There it is: Rockstar officially announced they're making Grand Theft Auto 6 and people went wild, especially on social media. Now we're sure the game is coming, and the developers said we'll get the first look in early December 2023 as well. It seems the trailer might come out during the Game Awards, which also happens in early December.

But before we get to lay our eyes on the first trailer of GTA 6 and, with a bit of luck, also get a possible release date, Rockstar's parent company (Take-Two) have hinted at a release time window during an Earnings Conference Call on November 8. It looks like the game might come out in the fiscal year of 2025, which starts in April 2024.

So, no release in 2024 after all? Apparently not.

GTA 6: Possible Release Window

After the Microsoft document was shared with the CMA to finalize the Microsoft x Activision deal, expectations were optimistic. The company was confident about a possible fiscal year 2024 release for GTA 6. However, following the hacker attack, Rockstar had to delay the release to uphold their high quality standards.

The best-case scenario was that GTA 6 would come out sometime in early 2024. However, during the Earnings Call, Take-Two announced that they had postponed the expected earnings to the next fiscal year. This means that it's more likely that GTA 6 could be released between mid 2024 and spring 2025. In the worst-case scenario, the release might be delayed further, but that's just speculation.

What do you think when GTA 6 going to release?
