Shortly after the GTA 6 trailer leaked online, Rockstar Games uploaded it on its official YouTube channel – several hours earlier than originally intended. And boy does it reveal a lot...
Everyone has been mega hyped for the GTA 6 trailer, planned to release on December 5 at 9 AM ET / 6 AM PDT / 2 PM GMT. Well, it's already online by now, because Rockstar published the trailer early after it leaked online. So we know what you've been coming for here, so let's not waste any more time – here it is:
GTA 6 Trailer Reveals Release Window & Confirms Leaked Details
The trailer confirms some major things that we knew before, thanks to previous leaks: There are two main characters, the game is set in Vice City and at the end of the trailer we see a targeted release window of 2025.
The character that seems to be the main focus is a woman called Lucia. In the trailer, you see that she is in a Bonnie & Clyde-like relationship with a male character (he remains unnamed in the trailer, previous leaks suggest that he's called Jason). They have sex, they rob stores and are involved in getaway drives.
We see a lot more of Lucia, who seems to be out on parole. What we mostly see is Vice City and its surrounding areas, though: glitzy high life on the sun-kissed beaches and sky-high penthouses, wild shenanigans in the bayou, relentless parties, white trash. It doesn't seem too different from Los Santos, just slightly more pink and more messed up.
