A Hades speedrunner accomplished the impossible recently. She beat the 64 Heat run without any mods and unseeded, just days after a popular rogue-like expert deemed it impossible.
Hades is an amazing game that surprises me every time with how deep it gets. It's a rogue-like, which makes the feelings of advancing in the game even more satisfying, since you actually see how much your skill as a player progresses with time and without much help from outside level-ups.
Adding on to this, the deep, intricate story that changes with each run and the abundance of well-crafted characters makes this game so much more engaging than other rogue-likes. Amazingly enough, a Hades streamer has now managed a near impossible run with a combination of high skill level and insane luck.

Hades Speedrunner Finishes "Impossible" 64 Heat Run
A 64 Heat run is a run where you essentially play Hades on it's hardest settings. You can in- and decrease your Heat before your run by using the "Pact of Punishment", which then allows you to get some extra rewards. In turn, you'll get slapped even harder. For example, instead of one Erinye sister, you'll need to fight all three. This game mode activates after beating Hades for the first time and becomes essential if you want to max out your weapons.
The 64 Heat run was deemed so incredibly difficult that no one managed to do it without any mods until now. It has incredible limitations. For starters, it's a given that you don't use any other weapon than the shield.
The YouTuber and self-proclaimed Hades legend Jade, or also known for her alias Angel1c, managed to beat 64 Heat in just 30 mins. To bring more context into this, rogue-like expert Haelian analyzed the situation just days before and came to the conclusion that the chance of winning is minimal.
He found out that with all the fate playing into a winning round, like getting the right bonuses from the right gods and also the added skill level needed, the chance of having a successful run is just a measly 0.236643 percent, aka one every 422 attempts. Despite all that, Jade did manage to have one, and she might remain the only winner of the 64 Heat run for a long time.
Even the developers of Hades came out congratulating Angel1c for being "godlike" and essentially the only person to ever properly beat Hades. Congrats!
Congratulations to Hades player AngeL1C on this godlike feat!! Zagreus knows there's no better motivation to achieve something quite like being told it's impossible! https://t.co/cpLXcb9AdP
