Emenes announced his retirement earlier this year by letting everybody know that he will fulfill his mandatory military service in South Korea after worlds. Now he decided to let everyone know how he feels before leaving and wrote up a big post on a Korean forum to let all the air out.

Emenes Has Something To Say About Everyone

The Korean mid laner Jang “Emenes” Min-soo released a statement on a Korean forum yesterday where he basically just took a shot at everybody.

The Post regarding some other North American players but also European players has gained quite a bit of traction in the community and sparked some interesting conversations. But what exactly did he say? In Summary:

  • His C9 Teammates Fudge and Blaber don't practice
  • NA doesn't practice enough as a whole
  • Still, Fudge helped with the team environment
  • The Streamer and Analyst/Ex-Coach LS is “not human”
  • Western League of Legends sucks
  • NA's best talent is Berserker, Inspired and Jojopyun
  • The best work ethic: Jojopyun, Yeon, Contractz, some academy players and his Excel squad when he was still on the team
  • EU Player Patrik apparently calls his team Excel a Prison, meaning that the success chance is very low for him, but still stayed in it for some reason
  • Zven is a hard worker, he wishes him success but doesn't want to play with him again since they fought a lot

He also went on about how in his drama with the EU Streamer Spearshot on the Korean League of Legends server, he didn't know that he was actually being racist and apologized for it again.

He called the EU region cocky and the NA region lazy. Zven apparently has a very “pro-like” mindset, and he wishes fakegod the best since his mother cooked Korean food for him.

In a last edit he mentioned the C9 Owner Jack and how he is an angel, but also explained that the coaching staff ignored 30 pages of preparation for an important game during Worlds.

Emenes also defended himself against some drinking allegations and mentioned that he was paid the LCS minimum salary.

He gave a shoutout to his former colleagues Kryze, Finn, Markoon, Nukeduck, Patrik, Mikyx and coachnova as they kept him from retiring after some rough times in EU.

To show that he really meant all this, he doubled down and made a rude comment after LS reacted to the statements about himself, calling LS a fatty.

Now, since he mentioned already that he doesn't want to play League of Legends after his military service, it's pretty safe to say that he would not get a spot on a team at this point anyway.

Not a great action to leave the scene like this, but Emenes was no stranger to controversy, so he might as well just end it on a big one.
