In 2022 the LoL Finals MVP went to none other than the DRX top laner Kingen. This year, his lane opponent from that time will be the one named Oppo MVP of the finals – Choi "Zeus" Woo-je.

Zeus has been named the World Championship Finals MVP after an insane showing throughout the finals, taking on one of the most iconic top laners in the world, The Shy.

LoL Worlds 2023: Zeus Received Finals MVP Award

Zeus, who had been the best player throughout the 2023 LCK Summer split, has now taken the crown with the 2023 World Championship. Not only that, but he's also been named the Finals MVP for his performance on Yone, Gwen and Aatrox.

This means Zeus will be able to choose a prestige skin for his champion pick when the League of Legends World Championship skins get released next year.

Last time, top laner Kingen chose Aatrox as his champion, with Aatrox receiving a prestige skin. This time around it'll be Zeus choosing the champion and skin, receiving a prestige as well as an extra honor of becoming the finals MVP.

Throughout the year, Zeus has been criticized for his performance in different finals, but now he's managed to show that he is able to carry in a finals situation as well, even against veterans like TheShy.

Which Champion Skin Could Zeus Get?

One of the most obvious choices for Zeus is likely Jayce, with that being one of his favorite champions in the game and with it sounding similar to his in-game name as well.

Of course, he could also receive a skin for Yone which was one of his most iconic picks. The Aatrox, which he's played a lot seems unlikely due to it getting a skin in 2022 already.

Zeus' contract with T1 will expire at the end of the year, so it'll be interesting to see whether he re-signs with the org, or he will find a new team for the 2024 League of Legends season.
