The E3 2023 was cancelled, which already prompted multiple people to speculate whether there will ever be another E3. Well, on December 12, 2023 the answer is clear as never before: No more E3.

No More E3: The End Of An Era

For the longest time E3 was one of the most anticipated gaming events of the year, but the hype had died down in the last few years, with developers deciding to put on their own gaming showcases for their future titles.

In 2022 and 2023 the event was cancelled which made many believe that this was the end of E3 and now the confirmation has just been revealed. The gaming fair will not be coming back anymore.

The official E3 Twitter/X simply sent out a tweet on December 12, 2023 in which they posted a photo stating, "after more than two decades of E3, each one bigger than the last, the time has come to say goodbye."

There had been rumors about E3 getting cancelled for 2024 and 2025 already from the Los Angeles City Tourism Board of Commissions, so it comes as no surprise that the gaming fair has decided to make it official that it will not be coming back anytime soon.

So, the 2021 E3 was the last one to take place... sad to think that we attended it without knowing that this would be the last time, right?
