With the Remastered Trilogy having just been released, the first three Tomb Raider games are now experiencing a new wave of popularity. Tomb Raider 1 laid the foundation for one of the greatest success stories in the world of video games – in addition to over 20 games (including spin-offs), Lara Croft also made it to the big screen .

The original Tomb Raider 1 from 1996 contained cheats, like many games at that time. The 2024 remaster has also included cheats, which we will introduce to you in this article.

The History of Cheats

Cheats weren't originally designed for players. Instead, they were tools for game developers to easily test specific sections of a game without having to go through the normal start-up process. A famous cheat code found in many games is "noclip," which lets players float through levels and even pass through walls. Because removing cheats from a game would require unnecessary additional work, they often remained in the game. Celebrated by many gamers, cheats quickly evolved into a genuine feature for users.

Tomb Raider 1: Cheats (Remastered)

There are a total of two cheat codes available for Tomb Raider 1 Remastered:

Skip Level

  1. One step forward.
  2. One step back.
  3. Rotate Lara counterclockwise three times on her own axis.
  4. Jump forward.

All Weapons and Infinite Ammunition

  1. One step forward.
  2. One step back.
  3. Rotate Lara counterclockwise three times on her own axis.
  4. Jump backward.

Those were all the cheats that you can use in Tomb Raider 1 Remastered. By the way, a completely new Tomb Raider game is in the works – read more about it here.
