Car Crash Involving LCS Players
It must have been a harsh impact on the car, if you take a close look at the posted pictures regarding the accident, that the two EG players had been in. Luckily it seems to be the case that nobody was seriously hurt or injured, at least according to the Twitter post of Joseph "Jojopyun" Pyun.
He and his teammate Mohamed "Revenge" Kaddoura were involved in a traffic accident near an intersection, yesterday, July 23, 2023. Jojopyun was the first of the two, who took to Twitter and posted a picture of the demolished car, "LA drivers are different... fortunately no injuries".

On the picture you can apparently see the car, the two pro players were in, with a busted engine hood and destroyed spotlights. A few minutes later Jojopyun's teammate, toplaner Revenge, also posted about the accident and explained what happened:
Got T-boned while driving near an intersection, completely terrifying. First time I’ve been in an accident

No further information regarding the exact crash-process were given, neither do we know how many cars and other people were involved. But it's good to hear that everybody seems to be fine. In the comment section many esports personalities and fans showed relief, that nothing worse has happened.
Now it will be interesting to see if Jojopyun and Revenge are fit to compete in the upcoming EG matches. EG has to play against TSM on Thursday, July 27, in the Upper Bracket of the LCS Playoffs. At the moment we're still waiting for further reactions by Evil Geniuses or other involved parties.
Just one day before the car crash, EG defeated TSM to secure the 3rd place in the regular Season. So momentum seems to be on EG's side. Jojopyun has been part of the EG roster since November 2021, while Revenge joined the team recently in May 2023.
Everybody just hopes that an event like this won't impact the two players or their performance. So stay safe in the traffic and pay attention all the time guys!
