The Lunar Revel 2024 is scheduled to be the next event in February to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Once again, we're getting a bunch of new skins, as well as other key rewards. Everything will be part of the event pass, so make sure to check out if you want to grab the Battle Pass this time.
The latest Winterblessed Event at the end of 2023 has come to an end. Next, we'll jump right to the next and first in-game-event for 2024 in League of Legends. To celebrate the Lunar New Year in China, we'll get a fitting one, just like every year since the release of Battle Pass Events: the Lunar Revel 2024 Event.
With it, after one and a half years with Nilah's release, we finally got a brand-new ADC, Smolder, The Fiery Fledgling, who was releasedon January 31 one week after Patch 14.2 being live. On top of that, there will be 2 new skins for the Mythic Shop. But, what else will the Lunar Revel Event bring to the table? Let's dive into it!
LoL: Lunar Revel Event 2024: Start And Duration
The Lunar Revel Event 2024 starts with Patch 14.3 on February 7 and will be a longer event, lasting for 3 patches till half-time of Patch 14.5 on March 18.
The end of being able to farm your tokens will be one week earlier on March 12. The event will be separated in 2 parts, similar to the Lunar Revel Event 2023. The first part will include Heavenscale skins, meanwhile the second part will bring back the beloved Porcelain skin line.
LoL: Lunar Revel Event 2024: Event Pass & Bundle
As always, there will probably be multiple options to choose from for the event pass. Depending on what option you choose, you'll get specific loot. We're not sure what kind of loot you can expect, though. But, since Riot doesn't really shake things up with the event passes, we'll take a guess for you below.
Please keep in mind that Riot didn't confirm anything yet.
Event Pass | Cost | Includes |
Lunar Revel 2024 Pass | 1650 RP |
|
Lunar Revel 2024 Pass Bundle | 2650 RP |
|
Lunar Revel 2024 Premium Pass Bundle | 3650 RP |

LoL: Lunar Revel 2024 Event Pass Rewards
Since altering the event track in 2022, Riot has consistently included several milestones accessible to everyone, including those who opted not to purchase the pass. Just like every other pass since then, there are gonna be a total of 60 Event Pass milestones, with missions 55-60 being infinitely repeatable.
For those of you, who don't want to spend any money, don't worry. Riot got you covered with some free milestone-rewards. In a post on Twitter/X, we got a look at all the rewards:

What we can also assure you is that the new Prestige Heavenscale Skin for Ezreal will cost 2,000 event tokens. And with the completion of the event missions, this will for sure be a feasible task.
Otherwise, if you already got 100 Ezreal skins just like me, you can also watch out for Prestige Porcelain Kindred in the second part of the Lunar Revel 2024 Event. Their skin will, however, be accessible with Mythic Essence, which you'll be able to buy for 2,200 tokens. Want to find out more about the upcoming Porcelain Skins? Click here!
For a summary of all confirmed rewards, check the list below:
2,200 tokens | 125 Mythic Essence + Icon |
2,000 tokens | Prestige Heavenscale Ezreal |
300 tokens | Lustrous Chroma Exclusive |
250 tokens | Borders (each) |
200 tokens | Lunar Revel 2024 Orb |
Other rewards, we don't know the price for yet, but will make it into the shop are Keys, Blue Essence, Random Emote and Champion Shard.
LoL: Lunar Revel 2024 Event Loot
There will also be some loot boxes, as usual with this League of Legends event. As already mentioned, there will be Lunar Revel 2024 Orbs, as well as Grab Bags, available for players to purchase, either through real money or through tokens from the event. So, let's take a short look at the new loot, as well as the event pass and its tokens, shall we?

Next to the rather more basic loot, we'll also have a capsule showcase. And you all know what this means, don't you? That's right, another $200 chroma. Yaaaay... The mythic chroma will be for Lee Sin and his legendary Heavenscale skin.
LoL: Lunar Revel Rotating Game Mode – URF
But we're not just getting a bunch of in-game-rewards. URF will also finally make its comeback in LoL. The last time we could play the fan-favorite game mode was February 2023. Since then, we didn't see it again, so for sure a lot of players like you and me will be excited to see the return of URF.
