League of Legends Patch 13.15 just released and in it, Riot released multiple buffs and nerfs for the new Arena game mode. One popular and unique LoL champ received multiple buffs, but those were a little bit too good and Riot quickly backtracked, announcing a hotfix patch.

In a mid-patch update Riot have also made adjustments to some champions, as well as Arena cameos.

Bard Hotfix Right After Patch Release

Bard received some major buffs in LoL Patch 13.15 for the new Arena game mode. He was one of the worst-performing champions in the mode, but has since become a pretty strong champion, which prompted Riot to quickly release a hotfix patch.

In Patch 13.15 Riot gave Bard some better scaling by changing the Chimes per Meep upgrade from 5 to 2. This was a little too strong and gave Bard too much of an advantage throughout a match of Arena, which is why Riot quickly made some key changes for the game mode.

Not only were the Chimes per Meep upgrade changed, but Riot also made some changes to the AP Ratio, lowering it slightly in the hotfix.

  • Arena only - Chimes per Meep Upgrade: 2 ⇒ 5
  • Arena only - Meep AP ratio: 0.6 ⇒ 0.3

The Chimes per Meep change is a revert of the initial buff, which some players feel could be a little too harsh for Bard in Arena and could make him a very weak champion again. Since this was only just added into the game we will have to wait and see how Bard will play in the coming weeks.

After some major bugs have plagued one of the newest Arena Cameo's, Riot have decided to remove it. Viego's Cameo did not go over well with the League of Legends community, with most quite annoyed when they turned into Viego after their death.

Players lost all their stacks on stacking champions, while others couldn't use specific abilities anymore once they turned into Viego once. This has caused quite an uproar in the community and has caused Riot to remove the cameo until the bug is fixed.

Earlier this week, Riot Games removed Alistar from the Arena game mode, due to some bugs. His ultimate ability was completely busted in the mode and just... didn't work, which was why the balance tem decided to take him out and fix him.

Well, now in the LoL Patch 13.15 Mid-Patch Update, he's been fixed and been added back into the game mode, so players can finally play Alistar and Poppy together once more to terrorize everyone else in this game mode.
