Riot Games is making some huge changes in the upcoming patch and the PBE server is filled with changes for every single champion.
League of Legends Patch 12.10 is going to be huge. This isn't us just trying to make it seem like it'll be a bigger deal than it is as well. This patch is actually going to make a huge difference for every single League of Legends player out there, whether you're an Aphelios main or prefer to play tank split pushers like Trundle.
In League of Legends patch 12.10, every single champion is receiving an update, making them more durable, but what else is changing? Items, runes and much more is being added as well. Oh, and Riot is getting ready for Pride Month in June, so there are some additional cosmetics there that we have to talk about.
Huge Durability Update
Okay, the biggest change is going to be the durability update. This means that every champion will be made more durable. Over the last few years, Riot has upped damage within the game, which meant that team fights have shortened and tanks have felt more and more pointless. So, to try and keep the power creep problem at bay, Riot is stepping in with this big update.
Durability Update For Champions
There are 159 champions in League of Legends as of writing this article — and if Riot were to finally release Bel'Veth we would have 160 — and we aren't going to list every single champion change here. So to summarize the key points, let's go over the general points for every champion.
Each champion in the durability update will receive increased:
- Base Health
- Health per Level
- Armor per Level
- Magic Resist per Level
Champions that inflict Grievous Wounds have also been nerfed from 60%/40% to 50%/30% to combat the amount of healing in League of Legends as well. There are tons of changes on the PBE server, so you can try out your favorite champion there to know how much more durable they're going to be.
Durability Update For Items
Items are also going to be affected by this change. Riot is not just going to make champions more durable, but things like objectives, items and runes are also getting updated. So let's go over the huge list of durability changes for items as well.

These are the changes which Riot implemented right upon the release of the PBE patch, so anything is still possible to change. But items and champions aren't the only things getting a whole lot of changes this time around. Runes will also receive some updates in Patch 12.10!
Durability Update for Runes
Our runes are also going to be getting some changes in the next League of Legends patch. We said this was going to be a big patch, and we meant it. So let's check out just what Riot has in store for us when it comes to runes in League of Legends and durability.
Rune | Changes |

Those are all the durability changes that hit the PBE server on May 11, 2022, but expect a lot of changes ahead of the actual release of the patch, especially regarding specific champions. Some might be too powerful, while others might do little to no damage with these updates. We will have to wait and see.
Pride Is Back On PBE
The next big event we can look forward to is the Pride Event in June. Pride month is coming up and there are going to be exclusive pride emotes and icons which are already on PBE. You can check them out and give feedback to the team.
One of the most iconic emotes is the one of Twisted Fate, as well as Graves together. Reminds us a little bit of Diana and Leona from last year, eh? So, if you're ready to celebrate pride in League of Legends, then there will be some goodies waiting for you in League of Legends Patch 12.10.
Skins in LoL Patch 12.10
Of course, we also have to talk about all the skins that are going to be released in LoL Patch 12.10. We saw Tahm Kench from a mile away thanks to his reveal in the Leona splash art from Patch 12.9, but who would have thought that Rell would not be getting a High Noon skin?
These are all champions getting High Noon skins in Patch 12.10:
- High Noon Tahm Kench
- High Noon Samira
- High Noon Viktor
- High Noon Twitch
- High Noon Sion
Those are some big changes currently on the PBE patch as we prepare for the next League of Legends update. Until then, let's keep praying for some news on Bel'Veth and when she will be released, and let's go play some ARAMs, so we can get our challenge tokens!
