Riot just announced that LoL Patch 13.10 is going to come out a little later than anticipated. When will the patch actually drop?
League of Legends in 2023 can be described with one word: delays. LoL Patch 13.10 is also going to be delayed, due to some issues with deployment, as per the official League of Legends Twitter account.
How long are players going to have to wait though until they can test out and use all the brand-new items and reworked items that are going to ship with this League of Legends patch.
Riot Delays LoL Patch Due To Deployment
The next League of Legends Patch, 13.10, is going to be delayed for 24 hours according to the official Twitter page. In it they write that there are some problems with the deployment of the patch accross all regions, so they will set it live 24 hours later than usual.
This means that the patch should be live on Thursday, May 18 instead of Wednesday, May 17 as was originally planned. Skins and cosmetics should be in the client on Friday, May 19 then, since they usually end up on live servers a day after the balance changes drop.
- While you wait for the League of Legends Patch to drop, why don't you play something else? Might I suggest Star Wars Jedi Survivor or maybe even Hogwarts Legacy ?
These delays don't come as too much of a surprise when you look at the sheer size of this League of Legends patch and what it holds. There are multiple item updates, some champion balance changes and a lot of quality of life changes as well.
Overall, this is a huge patch and waiting one day longer isn't going to make too much of a big deal.
The next LoL Patch 13.11 looks to be on time with the PBE having dropped already with the Rell Mid-Scope abilities, as well as the upcoming DRX League of Legends World Championship skins as well. So, we're going to be patient and wait for LoL Patch 13.10 even if it's a day late.
