Riot Forger and Tequila Works have come together to bring the frigid world of the Freljord to life in Song of Nunu. Now, the release date has apparently been leaked.
Ruined King: A League of Legends Story, as well as Hextech Mayhem: A League of Legends Story have been pretty successful since their release back in late 2021. The games are available online, as well as for the Nintendo Switch, but those aren’t the only games Riot Forge is working on.
We also know that they’re working on a game surrounding Nunu and Willump, as well as an Ekko-based game. Now, leaks have surfaced that Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story might be released sooner than you might think.
When Will Song of Nunu Be Released?
According to one prominent leaker, the game should be released by the end of March. Song of Nunu was announced at the Nintendo Showcase, along with other Riot Forge games mentioned before. Thanks to the leaks, we can now look forward to a release of the game.
The same leaks also stated that in the next PBE update, we will be getting a small surprise thanks to the release of the upcoming Riot Forge game. Since the next League of Legends patch will drop tomorrow, the new PBE content should also be out either March 2 or March 3, 2022.
What is Song of Nunu About?
According to the game trailer, Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story will be a single player narrative adventure. You play as Nunu — a young Notai boy looking for his mother — and as Willump, a Yeti he encountered on his adventure.
The story will take place in the Freljord, and you’ll be exploring the world, while trying to fight off the magical monsters which inhabit this frigid land, all while creating a stronger bond with Willump.
The story looks adorable and Tequila Works, along with Riot Forge, have done an incredible job in bringing the Freljord to life in this magical adventure. So, who else will be getting this game once it’s released?
