The final event of the year is here. With it, we're getting a multitude of skins, as well as some rewards. This is going to be the second time that Riot will use the new event pass system. So let's see what we know about the new in-game LoL event.
Christmas is upon us... or well almost. Riot has revealed the final event of the year and of course, it's all within the theme of winter as is usual for this time... though I never wondered how this would make players and fans in Australia feel who are currently in the midst of summer, right?
Okay, enough rambling we're here to check out everything we need to know about the upcoming LoL Winterblessed event. We know the champion skins, now let's check out what we can get with the event pass.
LoL Winterblessed Event: Start and End Dates
The Winterblessed event will be around one month. It started on December 8, 2022, and will go on until January 4, 2023. But don't worry you'll still be able to buy stuff in the event shop until January 11, 2023. So if you've farmed enough tokens you can still take some time to decide what to pick up from the multitude of things in the event shop.
LoL Winterblessed Event Pass and Bundle
Of course, we can go completely free to play, but for those of you who desperately want to get their hands on the best prestige skin of 2022, then you will have to fork over some cash to try and earn that furry-Warwick skin. As per usual you've got two options, of either getting the Pass or the Bundle.

Winterblessed Event Pass Rewards
This is going to be the second time that Riot will use the new event pass. You will have to play games to earn points and move along the event track to get rewards. If you want to get Winterblessed Warwick Prestige, you'll need to earn 2,000 Event Tokens which you will do at milestone 50 of the premium pass. So just play as many games as possible to earn those event points and move along the track and earn milestones.

During the 2022 League of Legends World Championship Event, Riot were giving out 80 Tokens instead of 60, meaning they changed this from the previous event. Why wasn't specified.

Winterblessed 2022 Event Missions
With the Winterblessed event being shorter than usual events, Riot is adding in a few extra missions so players can quickly earn XP to make it through the 2022 League of Legends Winterblessed event. You want to get your hands on as many tokens as possible, right?
In League of Legends events players can play missions to earn more XP points to make it through the event pass quicker. During the 2022 LoL Worlds event there were a multitude of missions for all the different skin lines that were released throughout the event. This time it's just missions on brand with the Winterblessed theme. So let's check out all the missions and what you can earn.

Of course those aren't the only missions you can complete. Since we've got just under a month to complete all of them, Riot is adding in a few special missions as well to help you along.

With the introduction of the new ARAM map, Riot is trying to promote it as much as possible. Since Snowball is a rune only available in this game mode you will have to have a few ARAM games under your belt as well this time around to complete the first special mission.
