Ni no kuni beautiful — 5. NI NO KUNI: WRATH OF THE WHITE WITCH: Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch was one of the best games on the PS3, and has now been masterfully remade on the PS4! One of the most charming and fantastic stories in any Japanese game we have played, with wonderful characters that scream CUTEEEE, and tons of emotional notes that hit you in the gut. Monster hunter world t rex — 4. MONSTER HUNTER: WORLD: Monster Hunter: World brought the Monster Hunter series to the mainstream, and it was an absolute blast! We loved some of the old games back in the day (gotta love that Monster Hunter Tri on Wii!), but this one? Wow! What a fantastic experience, with deep customization, a wonderful Japanese art style, beautiful graphics, and combat to die for (heh...). Persona 5 Royal — 3. PERSONA 5: Persona 5 was one of the best games of 2016, and we believe the best Persona game of all time! We loved our adventures with Joker and the gang, with an engaging and thoughtful story set in wonderful, oh so wonderful, Tokyo. Invading people's hearts is such a fantastic experience, and hits you in the gut more times than we could count. PLUS: the game is INSANELY long! Ghost of tsushima candle lake — 2. GHOST OF TSUSHIMA: The most recent of all in this list, and possibly one of the best! There’s a reason that this game was in so many games of the year lists. For starters, it’s absolutely gorgeous! The incredible particle effects and beautiful lighting shine our way through one of the most interesting and well-crafted Japanese stories in gaming. The combat, though, is the absolute highlight. Fast, brutal, deep, and spectacular! What’s not to love in this game? If you haven’t played it yet, then you must! Final fantasy 7 remake — 1. FINAL FANTASY... ALL OF THEM!: This may be cheating, but yes...ALL of the Final Fantasy games! They’ve been around for decades and have had their ups and downs, but with the new Final Fantasy 7 Remake, they are back in the glorifying spot light. There are tons of fabulous games to jump into, battles to be fought, multiple game styles (even an MMO), and a lot of great content to engage with when you get the chance. You must, must, must check out some Final Fantasy games if you never have before, and play the new Final Fantasy 7 Remake if you have played them in the past, and have not been convinced...you will be!
