Godzilla has come a long way. While the creature was once destroying Tokyo, he has since turned over a new leaf and has decided to protect the city instead.

Godzilla is probably one of the most well known creatures in cinema, having destroyed cities all over the world in iconic films. But it seems that the giant Kaiju will be turning over a new leaf, and is set to see what life on the other side is like.

Will other big Kaiju's make it to the same level of fame as Godzilla? With Kaiju No.8 coming out on Crunchyroll we could soon see some more monster collaborations heading our way.

Godzilla As The Chief Of Police — Who Would Have Thought?

Recently, Godzilla was named chief of Police for a police station in Tokyo. This was taken extremely seriously, with Godzilla getting his own swearing in ceremony with a sash, as well as an appearance with the press.

After being sworn in as chief of police, Godzilla made his way to the streets, but this time to protect them. Along with his own police escort, the Kaiju made his way through the streets he would keep safe for the day... since he did sadly have to give up the new title by the end of the day.

This Toho-backed event comes at a perfect time, given Godzilla is once again making waves thanks to Godzilla Minus One's impressive Academy Awards victory, earning the franchise's first ever Oscar.
