Final Trailer For Pokémon Scarlet And Violet DLC Revealed

The Pokémon Company revealed the final trailer for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC Part 2 "The Indigo Disk". Let's find out what we can expect!

On December 7, Pokémon launched a new and the final trailer for the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC, exactly one week away from the DLC release on December 14. Check out the trailer below:

Final DLC Trailer Reveals Returning Pokémon

In the trailer, we can see that all old starter Pokémon will return, introducing Snivy and Tepig for the first time on the Nintendo Switch console.

Not only that, but a lot of older Pokémon from previous games including Legendaries are coming back! Legendary Pokémon you'll be able to encounter are:

  • Zapdos
  • Moltres
  • Raikou
  • Entei
  • Suicune
  • Lugia
  • Ho-Oh
  • Latias
  • Latios
  • Kyogre

New Pokémon In The DLC Part 2

New Pokémon which are confirmed are paradox forms of Raikou, Suicune (past) and Cobalion and Virizion (future). Since each of them are part of a trio, we can expect that Entei as well as Terrakion are getting new forms, too.

And even deeper in the ground of Area Zero, we'll for sure be able to find the new legendary Pokémon Terapagos, the cover legendary for the DLC part 2.

Below, you'll find a list of all new Pokémon that are confirmed.

  • Archaludon (new evolution for Duraludon)
  • Raging Bolt (paradox Raikou)
  • Walking Wake (paradox Suicune)
  • Iron Crown (paradox Cobalion)
  • Iron Leaves (paradox Virizion)
  • Terapagos

New Features

You can also expect a lot of new features, like battling against pupils in the academy or old gym leaders again, running around with the point of view of your Pokémon and flying around, yes flying, with Koraidon or Miraidon.

New Available Events

Together with the trailer, Pokémon also announced some new events:

  • Until December 21, 2023, you can challenge Palkia and Dialga in Tera Raid Battles.
  • Within the same time frame, you can receive Darkrai via mystery gift with following password: NEWM00N1SC0M1NG​​
  • Until January 3, 2024, you can get a shiny Lucario with the code "SH1NYBUDDY" and a Master Ball by receiving a gift via internet
