Avatar: The Last Airbender is going to be turned into a fighting game in the coming years.
Avatar: The Last Airbender is expanding its universe with a brand-new Netflix live action series, as well as multiple other exciting projects in the pipeline. Now, it's been revealed that the series is also going to have it's very own fighting game and honestly, this is just perfect.
Thus far, there is not too much information out there on this project, but we can already imagine which characters would be perfect for such a game. If we don't get a playable "The Boulder" then I am going to riot.
Avatar: The Last Airbender Fighting Game Announced
Maximum Entertainment just revealed their 2024 roadmap to the public and alongside interesting games like Survive The Wilds and Morbid: The Lords of Ire, they've partnered with Paramount, the parent company of Nickelodeon.
They've partnered to create a "competitive multi-player fighting game set in the Avatar: The Last Airbender universe". Unfortunately, more wasn't revealed by Maximum Games other than early access being expected to come in 2025.
Honestly, with GTA 6 getting released in 2025, as well as Death Stranding 2: At The Beach, 2025 is shaping up to be one hell of a year for video games, eh? An Avatar: The Last Airbender fighting game sounds incredible, and we can only imagine what other side games could be added, like a form of the pro-bending tournament as well on the side.
For now, we will have to be patient to find out the exact details, though. So stay tuned because there is suere to be more tidbits of information to drop in the coming months.
