Developer Keen Games reveals what the survival-hit Enshrouded has in store for us in 2024.
After launching on Steam in February 2024, Enshrouded quickly became a hit. Even though the survival genre is pretty crowded, the fantasy RPG take on the popular game type by German studio Keen Games managed to sell over two million copies in just a few weeks.
Enshrouded launched into Early Access, meaning that it will be constantly updated and expanded with new features and content. Keen Games now revealed the roadmap for 2024, revealing what fans of the game can look forward to this year.
Enshrouded Roadmap Promises More Dungeons, Pets, Weather & More
The team is set to improve Enshrouded significantly in this year, doing so in tandem with the community. A lot of the points they mention in the roadmap are based on the game’s feedback board, where players can suggest new features and changes.
The list of promised additions includes some of the most popular suggestions from the board, like a dynamic weather system, vanity armor, water (yes, that’s not in the game yet) and most importantly – pets and farm animals. Cute!
The official roadmap includes a ton of promises for the year, like improved performance, Steam Deck support, enemy patrols, new bioms, increased NPCs, better multiplayer features and so much more.
Keen Games hasn’t revealed yet, when these features are coming to the game exactly. However, they have promised that the game will get its first content update this month, which is set to introduce new, bigger dungeons to the game.
