Epic has announced that as of June 2024, the Epic Games Launcher will no longer support Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 10 (32-bit).

Existing installations on these operating systems will no longer receive updates after this date. However, the Epic Games Launcher will continue to support Windows 10 (64-bit), Windows 11, and MacOS 10.13 or later. There will even be a mobile version, allowing players to play Fortnite on their smartphones.

After June 2024, players will still be able to use the Epic Games Launcher on Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10 (32-bit), but it will no longer be officially supported. Epic will not provide technical support for users of these operating systems, and the functionality of the Launcher on these systems may be degraded or cease to function over time.
