The next big Pokémon title has been revealed, and now fans are convinced that this will be a Switch 2 game.
During the Pokémon live stream a brand-new Pokémon Legends game was revealed. This game is believed to be coming in 2025 and players have theorized that this will be one of the main games for the Nintendo Switch 2.
The newest game is set in the futuristic metropolis of Illumina City and will follow the game principles of Pokémon Legends: Arceus, meaning we will be able to explore this grand city. This was probably the most exciting announcement of the whole Pokémon showcase.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A To Be Launch Game For Nintendo Switch 2
There have been multiple rumors about the Nintendo Switch 2 coming out soon. Recently though, there have been talks that the console is going to be delayed until 2025 and players believe that one of the reasons for this could be Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
In the official trailer on the Pokémon Asia English Channel, it is written that the game will launch on Nintendo Switch systems. Yes, with an 's' at the end. It is also stated that the game will be released in 2025. Players made their own conclusions after reading this, believing that the Nintendo Switch 2 pushed back its release date to have better launch games when it first releases.
What if Switch 2 has 3D Mario and Pokemon legends Year 1? It was rumored that Nintendo moved Switch 2 to 2025 to further strengthen the 1st Party lineup. If Pokemon Legends Z-A was one of the reasons, I get it. pic.twitter.com/BaZbfrdI36

3D Mario is also set to release in 2025, so players think that the Nintendo Switch 2 will be coming in 2025 now so it can have a strong set of 1st Party lineup games. Honestly, it would make sense, since better games upon release will make the console more attractive to purchase as well.
Of course, with the Nintendo Switch being one of the best-selling consoles ever, we doubt that the Switch 2 is going to have any problems in that department though.
