Genshin Impact fans have been quite upset with developer HoYoverse, due to the lack of rewards. Since unfollowing the Genshin Impact social media accounts and review bombing it hasn't helped, the player base has now set their sights on a new foe.
The lack of special rewards in Genshin Impact has infuriated the community. What was kicked off by a simple comment in the Genshin 4.4 live-stream has turned into a tidal wave of drama within the community, and now players are targeting other games as well to get HoYoverse's attention.
So, who is the next victim of the Genshin Impact community? None other than the game they constantly compare themselves to: Honkai Star Rail.
Genshin Impact Players Review Bombing Honkai Star Rail Now
During the Genshin Impact 4.4 live stream, a simple comment about appreciating player's continued support of the game turned into one of the games' biggest shit storms. Getting three extra Intertwined Fate was the reward for this continued support of probably the biggest mobile game out there right now – I mean, making $5-billion in 3-years says it all, doesn't it?
Well, since then the players have been on a war path. At first, it was just the Chinese community, but now international players have also joined in the protest, review bombing Genshin Impact and unfollowing their social media channels on all fronts. Hasn't worked yet to change anything, though, eh?

Therefore, the community is taking a new approach, deciding to go to their nemesis' page to review bomb it now. Honkai Star Rail players have been enjoying quite a lot of free rewards from HoYoverse, like a free 5-star character – who is actually OP – as well as multiple free pulls in their Gacha System.
Because of all these rewards, Genshin players are not putting 1-star reviews for Honkai Star Rail, writing reviews like: HSR is good, but that the rewards are unfair for Genshin Impact players. Will this make a difference? Most likely not... since the only thing HoYoverse will listen to is money, so the only solution is that players should just... stop spending money on the game.
