Footage of a live-service, free LittleBigWorld game from 2013 have come online. Why didn't Sony release this gem of a game?
Video footage has emerged from an "internal demo" for an unreleased live-service, free-to-play LittleBigPlanet game. The footage featured gameplay, as well as voice acting, which goes to show that development of this title was already pretty far along.
While the game was never officially canceled, it also never saw the light of day, even with so much of the work already done. In the video, fans can clearly make out well-known LittleBigPlanet gameplay, as well as costumes.
LittleBigPlanet Free To Play Game Footage And Playable Build Found Online
The YouTube channel LittleBigRussia posted a 7-minute-long video in which they showed off some of the gameplay from LittleBigPlanet Hub, which was going to be a live service LittleBigPlanet game. It seems that a lot of the assets and features were not created in vain, though, with fans on YouTube commenting that the LittleBigPlanet 3 DLC might have recycled a lot of assets from this unreleased game.
The original channel that posted the video also posted a short in which they're seen downloading the LittleBigPlanet Hub Internal Beta once more, which could mean that more footage of the game is going to leak online.
Some people on Reddit and YouTube have wondered why these leaks are releasing now. Many believe that the content of the beta test might have been under a 10-year NDA, which has since been lifted, which is why LittleBigRussia is able to post these videos now online.

It seems that the game's internal beta and build have also been archived online, which means players can download it as well and give it a shot themselves. Twitter user the_imagisphere seems to have been the first to discover the archive, sharing it on their Twitter/X.
Players should beware that if they do decider to download it to their old PS3, then they should take out the "™" from the game files, otherwise they won't be able to play it.
