The Agency for Nature, Wieden+Kennedy and Arenanet have teamed up to create the SeedSaga campaign. Their slogan: "Play. Grow. Touch Grass."

Through this campaign, Guild Wars 2 fans and gardening enthusiasts will be able to bring a number of plants from the world of Tyria into their own homes for free.

Get The Magical Guild Wars Feeling At Home

Unfortunately, only seed enthusiasts from the United Kingdom are eligible to participate at this time. But if you're based in the UK, just submit your name and email address on the official Seed Saga website and explain why you should receive a portion of the limited seeds.

Available Seeds:

  • Blooming Passionflower: A precious resource that embodies the essence of Tyrian nature with its detailed and exotic petals. Harvesting provides precious materials and hidden treasures.
  • Flax: A slender beauty crowned with delicate blue flowers. This plant opens up a world of versatility, providing players with the materials to craft rare items and powerful elixirs.
  • Red Sunflower: This extraordinary flower boasts not only brilliant petals and a golden center, but also unparalleled value. This rare plant is essential to some of Tyria's most coveted weapons.

Thematically, it's a perfect fit to bring the plants of a beautiful fantasy world like Tyria into the gardens of fans. Besides, it's never a bad thing to make the world a little greener. It's just a shame that the campaign is limited to the UK.

However, the campaign mentions that this is only for the first trial. What we can expect from future editions is unknown. Perhaps subsequent campaigns will revolve around other fantasy worlds or take place in other countries.
