According to reliable insider Dusk Golem, Monster Hunter Wilds is supposed to release in Q1 2025. The sequel to Monster Hunter World, the most successful game in the history of Capcom, was announced at The Game Awards with an unspecified release window of 2025.

Dusk Golem has previously revealed details on Wilds and other Capcom titles. Apparently, the upcoming action game is set to be fully open world, just like Resident Evil 9. Capcom has used the development of Dragon’s Dogma 2 for expanding their technical and design capabilities into open worlds, which have only very rarely been featured in Capcom games.

Monster Hunter Wilds To Release Early Next Year

On their Discord, Dusk also claimed that the targeted release window is Q1 2025 and that there has been “no problem in development so far”. The game has been in development since 2019 and is set to be “by far the biggest game they ever attempted”.

Official info on Wilds is still rare. Outside the short reveal trailer, we haven’t seen anything from the game yet. Considering that the previous two games in the series, Rise and World, are the two most successful games in Capcom history with 14 and 25 million sold units respectively, expectations are high for the next Monster Hunter title.
